LGNPC Ald'ruhn is the biggest mod
we've released to date, and probably the biggest we will ever release. It adds
over 30 new quests to Ald'ruhn, and gives unique dialogue to every NPC about
every topic. Some highlights include:
- Over 3000 completely unique
responses to more than 250 old and
new topics, 500+ pages of raw dialogue, excluding the additional
books (which reach up to 82 in-game pages, all written by our members),
notes, letters and scrolls that come with the mod!
- Visiting Bolvyn Venim in his manor
and raising his disposition
to 100 will let you uncover his tragic and intriguing past as well
as unlock his four quests.
- Three responses for almost every
NPC in the town to the topic
'House Redoran', according to the player's status within the faction.
- Discover the tangled web of lies,
corruption and false relationships
between Redoran's ruling families, and take sides in their invisible
wars.
- In addition, search through the
manor district for notes, letters,
and threats, all written by our members, adding new depth to the
storylines of the characters occupying the manor district, and triggering
new quests.
- Help an old Dunmer complete his
collection of rare beverages from all
around Vvardenfell.
- Help set up a skooma factory in
Ald'ruhn through a set of 4 quests.
- Family relation such as a mother who avenges
her son, or an who
apprentice marries her teacher...
- NPCs will know each other; some are
friends, some are enemies. For
instance, you'll find that NPCs belonging to the same class, guild,
trade, or family will talk about each other.
- You'll meet a character of a Morrowind book,
who'll tell you how she
got to the place you meet her in.
- A rumor mill that furthers the
story of the city and uncovers the
beginnings of quests.
- Nearly 150 NPCs, each one with his
or her own story and personality.
Every word you'll see was written especially for the NPC, and has been
made to suit what the writer wanted the character to be.
- Several dialogue based mini-games.
For example solving mathematical
questions or taking an alchemy exam.
- Conspiracies, lies, and corruption
chase each other around the city,
while beneath the surface; the politics of House Redoran strain the
fragile peace between the councilors and their families.
- Treachery is rife. The player can
participate in over thirty new
quests and help to shape the future of House Redoran and the city of
Ald'ruhn, or help out its citizens.
- Included is the excellent
Persuasion Response Enhanced Mod
(with the author's permission and blessing). Slightly edited for
typos and the like.
